We outfitted this area of the home with a 65 inch TV and a 5.1 system with Sonance in-ceiling speakers and in-wall subwoofer. The Upstairs Den was designed for the kids and their friends to play Nintendo Switch and PS4. These speakers were carefully sited to blend in with the architecture. There are three additional areas that enjoy Sonance Mariner outdoor on-wall speakers.
SONANCE AS38RS SERIES
The backyard features a large Sonance Garden Series System with 32 satellite speakers and 4 subwoofers. The home utilizes many James Small Aperture 63-7 High Output speakers, powered by Sonance amplifiers and 4 Savant streaming music players. The performance objectives were to create high-performance but nearly invisible audio in every area of the ground floor, as well as the master suite. The home was designed to be the ultimate family home, taking advantage of the massive square footage of the parcel, with plenty of room for indoor/outdoor living, a pool, fire-pit, multiple conversation areas, a large lawn, and even a sports court. Again, being a space we didn’t want to distract from, a pair of IS6s were placed in the ceiling. It is in the center of the home and painted dark making it feel even more luxurious and yet comfortable and warm. The dining room is a special place in this home. 4 IS8s were hidden in the walls which fill the room with sound and you have no clue where it’s coming from. The vaulted ceilings are 23' high with detailed beams running across. The Living Room was another room with some challenges. For TV watching in the same room, 2 IS6 Invisible Speakers were the ultimate designed to disappear solution. In the hearth room, 4 AS38RS along with a 10” in wall subwoofer hidden beside the sofa were used for dedicated music listening. The collaboration of the entire team the Architects, builder, designer & homeowners along with the Admit One Home Systems team ensured the success. The clients desire was to build a classic Swedish Country dream home but with all the modern luxuries of today.īeautiful tongue & groove wood on the ceiling in a few rooms could have easily been ruined with big, ugly speaker grilles. As a solution to that, AS38RS discreet architectural speakers were used and lined perfectly up with the lighting so they were barely noticed. This is a project that won't soon be forgotten.
